A "Green" property is one that has made a commitment to, and are taking steps to minimize their footprint on the earth. Sometimes their efforts are highly visible to guests, like recycle containers, CFL light bulbs, and signage regarding eco-policies. Other times they are behind the scene in energy efficient heating and cooling systems, environmentally friendly cleaners and soaps, etc..
We have added a green rating to our properties indicating their efforts to protect our environment and create a sustainable future for travel. Our rating is 1 to 5 Green Stars, with 5 being the greenest. Properties that are not yet rated include suggestions as to how the property might become more eco-friendly.
